Week 61

Hey y'all! 

This may be a shorter email because I took a long nap today and I want to talk to my mom today ha. 

This wasn't to crazy of a week, but there were a few highlights! 

Early on in the week, Elder Jones got kicked out of his first apartment complex! It's happened to me once or twice before, but it's always a kind of awkward interaction. Like...we actually DO have the right to tract, but they're convinced that we're soliciting so management asks us to leave. We could argue and try to stay, but it's usually better to just honor their request. Such is life!

We had a really nice lesson with our friend Daniel. He's been praying about baptism for a bit, and this last week we coveted prayer, scripture study, and fasting with him! We invited him to fast for an answer, so hopefully he'll get one soon. 

We had a member named Jesus join us for that lesson, and he took us to lunch right before it! It's this little Mexican restaurant owned by members in way downtown San Antonio. The food was greasy by good and people would randomly walk in to the restaurant with guitars and stuff and start playing music! That was pretty cool. 

AWESOME part of the week was on Friday when we got to go do baptisms in the temple with Ben! We baptized him a couple months ago, and he got his recommend this last week. It's been so cool watching Ben's testimony flourish and seeing his desire to serve grow. He went back to the temple again with his girlfriend apparently and had a good experience :)) 

More people are coming back into town which is really nice for us! More new ward members to work with and more people to find. Win win!
