Week 10: I'm alive!

Oh boy. Hey y'all I'm going to keep this one short because I just spent about an hour or so on an email (a good one too) but when I attached pictures to it, all of the text got deleted. Apologies in advance. So...here's the bullet point version of my week.

-Transfers went well, and my companion Elder Marshall is awesome
-We put one of our friends on date for baptism! So exciting.
-Several of the people we're teaching made it to church and had a good experience (total win!)
-We got to go to the Food Bank to skin deer again! Pretty soon here I'm gonna have a hidden talent for skinning deer that I can whip out at any moment. Perfect party trick of course. " Hey, bring out Bambi! Watch closely kids, you don't want to miss this..." Jokes aside, service is a great way to de-stress and helps shake things up. Missionary life can feel pretty monotonous at times, so it's nice to have some variety!
-We've been able to see some awesome little miracles this week that have really helped me see the Lord's hand in my life and just generally to see the good in my day. I would really recommend it to y'all. Look for the small miracles in your life. Stay positive!
-Things have been pretty busy, but good! Busy is good. Makes time fly, feels more satisfying, and boy do we sleep hard!
Sorry again for the lame email...I just don't have the time or patience to write it all out again haha. I hope everyone has a great week and know that I'm grateful for all of you. God bless!
Love,
Elder DeWitt

Elder Marshall and I day 1

A dog that I lovingly call Wiggles because she's always excited to see us and does a little wiggle dance. Absolutely adorable.

We found a fan! It's one of those ancient Lasko fans that always seems to be running by some miracle. It was tucked away in a closet on the balcony and we cleaned it up real good. Perfect for white noise and airflow because our ceiling fan is...oh what's the technical term? Oh yes. Big garbo.

Baking (you guessed it) banana bread! We're saving it for district council so we don't eat it all. It's delicious.
